Welcome to Keddy’s Corn!
Prince Edward Island’s Favourite Stop for Sweet Corn & Country Charm.
We’re Mark and Amanda Verleun, and together with our three kids—Levi, Joey, and Mackenzie—we run Keddy’s Corn with heart, hustle, and a whole lot of hard work.
Our story began in 2022, when we had the chance to grow our Eastern PEI family farm to include sweet corn— alongside our cattle operation. We jumped at the opportunity to learn under the mentorship of the Blum family and haven’t looked back.
Island grown. Family run. Hand-picked fresh every day.
Why We Love It
Some of our favourite moments come from you.
Families who make our stand part of their vacation.
Neighbours bringing their kids for a fresh-picked dozen.
Regulars who’ve supported us, year after year.
Hand-Picked Corn, Sold Fresh Daily
From our roadside stand, the back of our truck, or sizzling hot off our roaster. It’s honest work, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Where can I buy Keddy’s corn?
Our sale dates and locations can change daily based on weather and crop conditions. We usually confirm them just a day or two in advance – so check back here often or follow us on Facebook for the latest updates from the field.

The easiest way to be sure is to look for our name! Make sure the signs say Keddy’s Corn. If it doesn’t say Keddy’s, it’s not our corn.

We do not sell to any other farmers or resellers like markets or grocery or convenience stores—our corn only comes straight from us, and we sell it ourselves at our stand and off our trucks or the roaster only.

If you’re ever unsure, feel free to message us or check our latest updates on Facebook to see where we are that day for fresh, Island-grown Keddy’s Corn.

What kind of seed do you use?

That’s a secret, sorry!

How can I book the corn roaster for an upcoming event?

Call Mark at 1-902-628-0488

Can I freeze corn?

Yes, there are several different methods you can find with a simple online search.

It’s a Year-Round Effort
Even though the selling season is short, the work in nonstop. From seed orders and field prep to planting, to weeding and watching the skies – sweet corn doesn’t grow itself! There are early mornings, long nights, and plenty of sore backs…but we love every bit of it. (Okay, maybe not the weeding!)
